Terms of Service & Mitigation Agreement

By engaging Water Damage Master via online service request, emergency telephone hotline ((877) 410-2199), or executing an on-site Work Authorization, you agree to the operational covenants and procedural terms detailed below.

1. Scope of Emergency Mitigation Services

Water Damage Master delivers specialized emergency property stabilization, high-volume liquid extraction, psychrometric structural drying, Category 1–3 decontamination, and certified mold remediation. All procedures adhere to the standards outlined in the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) S500 and S520 procedural guidelines.

2. Property Access & Utility Authorization

To halt active moisture migration, the client grants our certified technicians safe and unobstructed access to the designated property. This includes authorization to access electrical breaker panels, main plumbing shutoff valves, basements, and attic crawlspaces. The client authorizes the consumption of on-site electrical power required to operate commercial air movers and dehumidification systems continuously.

3. Continuous Equipment Operation & Integrity

Scientific structural drying requires unbroken thermodynamic equilibrium. Dehumidifiers, HEPA air filtration scrubbers, and axial air movers must run continuously 24 hours a day until certified dry standards are achieved. The client agrees not to turn off, relocate, or unplug commercial drying machinery without direct instruction from the assigned IICRC Project Manager. Unauthorized equipment shutdown allows moisture to rebound and voids work guarantees.

4. Transparent Pricing & Insurance Assignment

Mitigation charges are scoped according to standardized regional Xactimate line-item pricing. Before non-emergency work initiates, a formal written scope of work is presented. For insurance-covered perils, the client may execute a direct Assignment of Benefits (AOB) or Direct Payment Authorization, empowering Water Damage Master to bill and communicate directly with the property insurance carrier on the client's behalf.

5. Project Clearance & Dry Standard Criteria

A mitigation engagement is formally concluded when digital moisture meters and infrared thermal imaging verify that all affected structural framing, subflooring, and masonry assemblies have reached predetermined baseline dry standards. Upon completion, a comprehensive Moisture Log & Certificate of Completion will be issued to both the property owner and the insurance adjuster.
